The lineup for the men’s and women’s water polo tournaments at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Singapore is now complete. With the final qualification events in Chengdu (Women) and Podgorica (Men) wrapped up, the stage is officially set for next year’s showdown.
In Chengdu, France, Great Britain, and Croatia punched the last remaining tickets to the women’s tournament. Meanwhile, in Podgorica, Italy, Montenegro, and Romania sealed qualification on the men’s side.

On the men’s side, it’s Croatia who come in as defending champs — though both will have their hands full in a stacked field that includes Olympic gold medallists Spain (Women) and Serbia (Men), both already qualified.
