Circolo Nautico Posillipo have strengthened their squad ahead of the 2026-27 season with the signing of Greek centre-forward Angelos Foskolos.
The 31-year-old arrives in Naples after spending last season with Vasas, where he made his Champions League debut and scored 35 goals in 33 appearances across the campaign.
At 198cm and 112kg, Foskolos gives Posillipo additional physical presence and experience at centre as they continue building their squad for the new season.
The Greek began his senior career with Olympiada Petroupolis B before joining Panathinaikos in 2011. He spent three seasons with the Athens club before spells with Panionios and Ydraikos, establishing himself as one of the leading young centre-forwards in the Greek championship.
His performances earned him a return to Panathinaikos for the 2016-17 season, where he scored 28 goals in 20 matches.
After two seasons with Ethnikos, Foskolos moved abroad for the first time to join Szeged in Hungary. He later returned to Ydraikos between 2020 and 2022, producing 68 goals in 27 matches, before spending the following two seasons with Peristeri.
The 2023-24 campaign was one of his most productive, as Foskolos scored 71 goals in 30 appearances while also competing in the Euro Cup.
He then joined Apollon Smyrnis for 2024-25, adding another 58 goals in 35 matches and gaining further European experience.
Last season brought a return to Hungary with Vasas, where Foskolos stepped up to Champions League level for the first time.
Foskolos also represented Greece at youth international level, helping the U20 national team finish second at the Mediterranean Games and fourth at the European Championship in 2015. He was later called into the senior Greek national team in 2017.
Posillipo will hope his combination of size, experience and proven scoring ability can provide a major boost at centre as the Italian club prepares for the new campaign.
