Italian water polo sensation Sofia Giustini is poised to leave Spanish powerhouse Sabadell at the conclusion of the 2024–25 season, with strong indications pointing toward a return to her homeland.
While the 22-year-old attacker has reportedly confirmed her intention to return to Italy, she has not disclosed her next club. However, speculation is rife that Rapallo Pallanuoto is the frontrunner to secure her signature.
Giustini’s move to Sabadell in 2023 marked a significant step in her career, following a successful stint with SIS Roma, where she clinched the Coppa Italia in the 2021–22 season. At Sabadell, she continued her upward trajectory, contributing to the team’s triumph in the 2023 Champions League, where she was the top scorer in the final against Olympiacos. Her tenure in Spain has further solidified her reputation as one of Europe’s premier water polo talents.
