According to French sources, Vladan Spaic may be on the move this summer, with strong indications that the Montenegrin international is set to return home to sign for Jadran Herceg Novi.
The 27-year-old centre-forward, currently playing for Marseille, appears to be nearing the end of his spell in the French Championship. While nothing has been officially confirmed, it is understood that negotiations between Spaic and the Montenegrin club are at an advanced stage.
A move back to Herceg Novi would mark a return to familiar waters for Spaic. Before making the switch to France, the powerful centre-forward began his career with Budva, before establishing himself at Jadran, where his performances earned him a place in the national team. Since making his debut for Montenegro in 2019, Spaic has become a regular fixture in the squad, featuring at several major tournaments—including the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Should this transfer go through, it would be a major statement from Jadran Herceg Novi, as they look to build a squad capable of challenging both domestically and in Europe. Spaic’s potential return would provide experience, physicality, and a proven track record at the highest level.
