Toni Nemet is set to continue his career in Turkey, with the Croatian centre reportedly agreeing a move to ENKA Istanbul ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 27-year-old is among a significant group of players to leave Jadran Split this summer following the conclusion of the Croatian and European club season.
Croatian reports have named ENKA as Nemet’s next destination, with HRT reporting in July that the centre would move to Turkey to play for the Istanbul club.
While ENKA have not yet publicly announced the signing through their official channels, multiple reports in Croatia have linked Nemet with the Turkish side.
Nemet spent the 2025/26 campaign with Jadran Split, competing domestically as well as in European competition. His departure forms part of a major reshaping of the squad at Zvončac, with several established players moving elsewhere during the summer transfer window.
ENKA have become an increasingly notable presence in Turkish water polo and European competition in recent seasons. The Istanbul club competed in the European Aquatics Challenger Cup last season, finishing fourth in the competition.
The addition of Nemet would provide ENKA with an experienced natural centre as the club looks to strengthen its squad for the new campaign.
Nemet has also represented Croatia internationally and has spent much of his senior career competing in the Croatian league.
His expected move continues a busy summer of player movement across European water polo, with clubs in Turkey among those looking to strengthen ahead of the start of the 2026/27 domestic and European seasons.
An official announcement from ENKA regarding Nemet’s arrival has yet to be published.
