The 2025 World Aquatics Women’s Water Polo World Cup is set to take place from April 18th to 20th in Chengdu, People’s Republic of China.
This prestigious event will feature the top eight women’s national teams competing for the championship title. The finalists include Japan and China, who secured their spots through Division 2 qualifications, and Spain, the Netherlands, Greece, Australia, Hungary, and Italy, who advanced from Division 1.

The matches will be held at the Dong’an Lake Sports Park’s Swimming and Diving Hall, a state-of-the-art facility that hosted the swimming competitions during the 31st Summer Universiade in 2023.
