Greece head coach Haris Pavlidis has announced the 15-player squad that will represent the national team at the 2026 Women’s European Water Polo Championships, taking place in Funchal, Madeira (Portugal) from 26 January to 5 February.
The squad combines a strong domestic core with international experience, featuring players from Alimos N.A.S., Glyfada, Ethnikos Piraeus, Vouliagmeni, Olympiacos, and Ferencváros.

The team will travel to Portugal on Sunday, 25 January, accompanied by assistant coach Antonis Vlontakis, video analyst Katya Tankeva, physiotherapist Myrsini Vasilopoulou, and team doctor Spyros Ballas, with Grigoris Dedes serving as head of delegation.

All of Greece’s matches will be broadcast live on ERT 2 Sports.
This will be Greece’s 20th appearance at a Women’s European Championship. The national team has claimed four silver medals (Zagreb 2010, Eindhoven 2012, Barcelona 2018, Split 2022) and a bronze medal in 2024, a result that also secured qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, marking Greece’s return to the Olympics for the first time since Beijing 2008.
