Federal coach Haris Pavlidis has announced a 22-player training roster for the Greek women’s national water polo team ahead of the 2025 World Championships, set to take place in Singapore from July 11–24.
The squad features a mix of experience and emerging talent, with representation from clubs across Greece and Europe, including this year’s Champions Vouliagmeni, Olympiacos, Ethnikos, Panionios, and Ferencváros, as well as Hungarian side Dunaújváros. The list includes key national team stalwarts such as Eleftheria Plevritou, Eleni Xenaki, and Maria Myriokefalitaki, alongside several promising younger players.
Women’s water polo in Greece is enjoying a period of renewed momentum, marked by fresh domestic success and strong international performances.
