Brazilian goalkeeper Joao Pedro Coimbra Fernandes is being linked with a move to Jadran Herceg Novi after his departure from Vasas SC.
Coimbra is expected to leave Vasas this summer following a disappointing campaign in which the Budapest club are set to finish outside the Hungarian top four, meaning they will miss out on next season’s Champions League.
The Brazilian shot-stopper is understood to be a potential target for Jadran Herceg Novi as the Montenegrin side look to strengthen for the new season and European competition.
Coimbra brings significant pedigree, having previously featured for CN Atlètic-Barceloneta, VK Novi Beograd, VK Partizan AND OSC, while also representing Brazil men’s national water polo team on the international stage.
For Jadran, adding a goalkeeper with experience across Europe’s top leagues would be a statement signing as they continue to build for domestic success and continental challenges.
No deal has been officially confirmed, but Coimbra is emerging as one of the names to watch in the summer market.
