Three former European champions — Jadran Split, Mladost, and Jug Dubrovnik — extended their perfect starts to the season as Round 3 of the 2025/26 Croatian League wrapped up this weekend. Primorje also remain unbeaten but had a bye in this round.
Jadran Split, despite missing key names such as Fatović, Bijač, and Nemet, made light work of city rivals OVK Split, cruising to a 26–9 win. Every Jadran outfield player found the back of the net, with Antonio Dužević leading the charge with four goals.
In Zagreb, Mladost recovered from a slow start to defeat Mornar 18–10. After trailing 3–4 in the first period, the hosts dominated the remainder of the game, powered by Luka Bukić’s six goals and Konstantin Kharkov’s four.
Jug Dubrovnik were equally convincing, putting KPK Korčula to the sword with a 22–11 victory. Toni Mozara and Vlaho Pavlić both netted five times for the defending national champions.
Solaris, fresh from qualifying for the Euro Cup group stage, held off POSK 1937 in an entertaining 17–14 clash. After leading 11–5 early in the third quarter, Solaris were stunned as POSK fought back to level at 13–13. The hosts, however, responded with a decisive 4–0 surge. Čubranic, Pelićarić, and Mijić all scored hat-tricks for Solaris, while Marin Borovčić Kurir shone for POSK with six goals.
Elsewhere, Medveščak earned their first win of the season with a 17–14 victory over Zadar 1952 in the capital. Medveščak stormed to a 7–1 start and never relinquished control despite a late push from Zadar. Lovre Miloš led the home side with six goals, while David Babić netted seven for the visitors.
