Marseille overhauls squad with major signings: Drašović, Nagy, and Kalogeropoulos confirmed

CN Marseille has confirmed three major signings as the club begins to reshape its squad ahead of the 2025/26 season. Following another dominant domestic campaign—securing both the French championship and national cup—and a fourth-place finish at the Champions League Final Four in Malta, the French powerhouse is adding serious firepower to its lineup with the arrivals of Radomir Drašović, Adam Nagy, and Efstathios Kalogeropoulos.

Radomir Drašović Joins from Radnički

Serbian Olympian Radomir Drašović arrives in Marseille after a successful season with Radnički, where he helped the Serbian club win both the national championship and the Regional League. The 26-year-old defender has extensive international and club experience, having previously played for Crvena Zvezda, Partizan, Sport Management (Italy), Szolnok, and Novi Beograd.

Drašović was part of Serbia’s gold medal-winning team at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, and his leadership, defensive stability, and physicality will be key assets as Marseille seeks to improve on its European standing next season.

Adam Nagy Signs from Ferencvaros

In another significant move, Marseille has secured the signature of Hungarian international Adam Nagy from Ferencvaros. The 26-year-old, who has also played for UVSE, OSC, and Szolnok, brings with him a remarkable résumé.

During his time with Ferencvaros, Nagy won the 2024 Champions League and European Super Cup, while with Szolnok, he lifted the 2021 LEN Euro Cup. Internationally, Nagy has been a vital part of Hungary’s senior team, winning gold at the 2018 World Cup, gold at the 2023 World Championships, silver at the 2022 European Championships, and bronze at the 2025 World Cup. His experience and attacking instincts add depth and pedigree to the Marseille midfield.

Kalogeropoulos Completes the Triple Signing

Rounding off a transformative recruitment drive, Marseille has confirmed the addition of Efstathios Kalogeropoulos, one of Greece’s most promising young stars. At 23, the former NC Vouliagmeni player already boasts a wealth of international success, including back-to-back U18 and U20 World Championship titles, and senior silver medals at the 2023 World Championships and 2025 World Cup.

Kalogeropoulos is a dynamic, high-energy player known for his versatility and composure under pressure. His arrival helps offset the departures of veterans Andrija Prlainović, who returns to Serbia with Radnički, and Alessandro Velotto, who is expected to join Barceloneta.

A New Era in Marseille

With the confirmed arrivals of Drašović, Nagy, and Kalogeropoulos, Marseille has made a clear statement of intent. The club is reinforcing its core with experienced, international-caliber talent—players who not only strengthen the team tactically, but also bring a winning mentality.

As preparations begin for the new season, Marseille appears more determined than ever to compete for domestic dominance and to return to the Champions League podium.
