Australian Olympian Sienna Hearn has signed with SIS Roma for the 2025/26 season. The right-wing driver is expected to bolster the offensive line of the Italian powerhouse, bringing sharp instincts and pinpoint shooting to the squad.
Hearn made her senior debut for the Australian national team in 2022 and has since become a key figure, representing her country at World Cups, World Championships, and the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Known for her physicality and speed, the 22-year-old played a key role in securing a silver medal for Australia at the Olympics. Currently representing the Aussie Stingers at the World Championships in Singapore, Hearn scored twice in their dominant win over the host nation. The team will next face Italy in a decisive group-stage clash on July 13th.
Born in Sydney, Hearn began her water polo journey with the Sydney Northern Beaches Breakers Water Polo Club before going on to represent the UTS Balmain Tigers. Her move to SIS Roma marks her first professional signing outside Australia.
With the recent transfers of Hungarian Panna Kudella from Rapallo and Dutch international Maxine Schaap from Plebiscito Padova, the reigning Italian Cup champions continue to demonstrate their ambition to compete on all fronts next season.
With three top-tier international talents on board, SIS Roma is aiming for domestic dominance and a strong run in the Champions League.
