SIS Roma have confirmed the signings of Sinia Plotz and Iva Rozic as the Roman club begins building for the 2026/27 season.
The two arrivals add both international experience and attacking quality to a team that continues to push at the top end of Italian women’s water polo. Roma finished last season as Italian runners-up, reaching the Serie A1 final before falling to Ekipe Orizzonte in the deciding game of the series.
SIS Roma, officially Sistemi Integrati per lo Sport, are one of the leading women’s clubs in Italy. Founded in 2010, the club has developed into a regular contender in Serie A1 and European competition, with previous Coppa Italia victories helping establish them among the strongest sides in the country.
Plotz arrives as a versatile German international. Born in Duisburg, she has built experience both with the German national team and in the United States, where she competed in the college system. Her ability to play multiple roles should give Roma extra depth, physicality and tactical flexibility.
Rozic, meanwhile, is one of the most exciting young Croatian players of her generation. The 21-year-old has already made a strong impact for Croatia at senior level and has shown her scoring ability both internationally and at club level. After impressing in Italy with Cosenza, she now takes the next step with one of the country’s biggest clubs.
The double signing gives Roma two different but complementary profiles. Plotz brings energy, utility and international experience, while Rozic adds creativity and a clear goal threat.
After coming close again last season, SIS Roma’s intentions are clear. The club wants to remain firmly in the fight for domestic trophies while continuing to compete among Europe’s strongest women’s teams.
