Team GB’s goalkeeper Thomas Manley was in Euro Cup qualifying action for German side SV Ludwigsburg over a packed weekend in Pay’s Aix, France.

Despite suffering four defeats, Manley gained invaluable experience by facing European giants like Jug Dubrovnik—a team featuring four Paris 2024 Olympic silver medalists—alongside up-and-coming Greek side Panathinaikos, De Akker Bologna from Italy, and hosts Pay’s-Aix-en-Provence.

Earlier this season, Manley also got a taste of German league action with SV Ludwigsburg, enduring a tough 21-9 defeat at home against reigning champions Waspo Hannover.
