Almost all games of the second round of the Spanish League were one-sided affairs, with the narrowest margin being six goals.
After a midweek Euro Cup loss to Jug Dubrovnik, Terrassa bounced back in style, defeating Tenerife Echeyde 20–14 at home. The visitors from the Canary Islands started strongly, leading 5–2 in the opening quarter and still ahead 8–7 midway through the second. However, Terrassa responded with four consecutive goals to take control at 11–8, and from there, they never looked back. Lars ten Broek was the standout performer, netting six goals for the Catalan side.
Elsewhere, Barceloneta earned a dominant 24–8 away victory over Catalunya, led by Vince Vigvári with six goals and Bernat Sanahuja with five. Sabadell were ruthless against Sant Andreu, winning 14–6, while Barcelona cruised past Caballa 16–5.
Mediterrani also got their first win of the season, comfortably dispatching newcomers Encinas de Boadilla 18–8. Mataró, meanwhile, overcame Rubi 20–12 in a high-scoring encounter.
