Confirmed: Stefan Vidović Signs with Primorac Kotor

Primorac Kotor have officially announced the signing of Montenegrin international Stefan Vidović as their first reinforcement ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The 32-year-old Olympian returns to Montenegrin water polo after a season with Training Academy Olympic Roma in Italy. Prior to that, Vidović featured prominently for Ortigia in Serie A1 and for Spanish powerhouse Sabadell. A product of Jadran Herceg Novi, Vidović built his reputation at home before forging a successful career abroad.

On the international stage, Vidović has been a consistent presence for Montenegro. He was part of the national team that won silver at the 2020 European Championships and lifted the FINA World League title in 2021.

“I’m happy to be returning to Montenegrin water polo and to have the opportunity once again to compete at the highest level,” Vidović said.
“Primorac is a club with great tradition and a rich history, and I’m glad our ambitions have aligned. I believe we have an exciting season ahead — one full of challenges but also memorable moments. I’m ready to give my all, both in training and in matches, so that we can all be proud of what we achieve together.”

Vidović’s arrival is a clear statement of intent from Primorac, who are aiming to reassert themselves as a major force both domestically and in regional competition. His leadership and experience will be vital as the club looks to return to the top tier of Montenegrin and Adriatic League water polo.

Further signings are expected as Primorac builds a squad capable of challenging for honours in the new season.
