Croatia’s senior men’s national water polo team has begun its march toward the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Singapore (July 11–24).
The Squad: A Blend of Experience and Youth
Coach Tucak revealed a preliminary training squad of 24 players. The list features a core of established names alongside a quartet of U20 players — Ivan Mauro Čubranić (GK), Viktor Tončinić (centre), and attackers Vlaho Pavlić and Maro Šušić — who are currently focused on the U20 World Championships in Zagreb (June 14–21) but may later join the senior side depending on performance and team needs.
“We never brag or make bold predictions,” Tucak said, “but we never hide our ambitions either. Whether we finish first or fourth, we will give everything. Our goal is to represent Croatia with pride — and to defend the gold we won.”
