Honvéd is reportedly eyeing Serbian left-hander Lazar Vickovic as part of an ambitious rebuild ahead of the 2025–26 season. While nothing has been officially confirmed, multiple sources suggest the Hungarian club is in advanced talks to bring the 26-year-old to Budapest from Radnički Kragujevac.
Vickovic, born in April 1999, has built a strong résumé in the Serbian domestic league, featuring for top clubs such as Partizan and Crvena Zvezda. Over the past few seasons, he’s developed into a reliable scorer and playmaker on the left flank, with standout campaigns at both Partizan and most recently at Radnički.
The potential arrival of Vickovic would follow Honvéd’s likely signing of Montenegrin international Nikola Moskov—another significant piece of business by the Budapest-based club. The 27-year-old centre-forward currently plays for Onda Forte and previously represented Jadran Herceg Novi. Moskov, known for his physicality and presence at 2-metres, has recently returned to the Montenegrin national team setup and brings valuable international experience.
Honvéd’s pursuit of both players signals clear intent to re-establish itself among Hungary’s elite. With Vickovic’s dynamism and Moskov’s strength at centre, the club is targeting a more balanced and potent squad as it prepares to challenge on both domestic and European fronts.
