Hungarian international Kamilla Faragó is expected to leave UVSE this summer, with Spanish side Sant Andreu currently emerging as the most likely destination for the 25-year-old, according to sources in Spain.
While no agreement has yet been officially confirmed, Waterpolo 360 understands there is a strong possibility Faragó will move on from the Budapest club ahead of the 2026-27 season. At this stage, Sant Andreu are believed to be leading the race for her signature, although discussions are still ongoing and the situation remains fluid.
Faragó has spent the vast majority of her senior career at UVSE, having joined the club in 2015 after beginning her water polo journey in Kecskemét. Over the past decade, she has developed into one of Hungary’s most reliable right-sided attackers, helping UVSE to multiple domestic titles and a Euro Cup triumph in 2023.
The Hungarian international has also become a key figure for the national team in recent years. Since making her senior debut in 2019, Faragó has collected three World Championship silver medals (2022, 2024 and 2025), as well as a European Championship silver medal in 2026.
Known for her powerful shooting, versatility in attack and experience at the highest level, Faragó would represent another major addition for Sant Andreu, who continue to establish themselves among Europe’s elite clubs. The Spanish side have increasingly attracted top international talent in recent seasons and could once again strengthen significantly ahead of the new campaign.
Should the move materialise, it would mark the first club transfer abroad of Faragó’s professional career.
At this point, no other concrete links have emerged regarding the Hungarian star’s future, with Sant Andreu understood to be the standout option currently on the table.
