The standout fixture of Round 4 in the Spanish League featured Sabadell and Terrassa — last season’s 2nd and 4th-placed teams. But what was expected to be a tight derby quickly turned one-sided.
Sabadell, eager to bounce back from their Champions League defeat to Hannover, came out firing. They stormed to an emphatic 6:0 start before Terrassa could respond. After the visitors narrowed the gap to 2:6, Sabadell replied with another surge, making it 10:2 and effectively ending the contest. The hosts cruised to a 15:8 win, with Averka and Larsen both scoring hat-tricks.
Barceloneta showed their usual dominance, crushing Rubi 24:9. Every outfield player found the back of the net, while Valls, Sanahuja, and Burian led the scoring with three goals apiece.
Barcelona also continued their perfect run, this time with a 14:11 away victory over Sant Andreu. The match was competitive early on — Sant Andreu trailed just 6:7 midway through the third quarter — before Barcelona went on a decisive 5:0 run to secure the win. Daura, Antonov, Goma, and Andrade all scored three goals each.
In other results, Caballa edged Mediterrani 12:10, and Tenerife Echeyde overwhelmed Catalunya 23:11. Encinas de Boadilla host Mataro on Sunday to complete the round.
