Sienna Green transfers from UCLA to Stanford

Olympic silver medalist Sienna Green is set to transfer from UCLA to Stanford ahead of the upcoming season. The Australian standout, who took a break from NCAA play to compete with the Aussie Stingers at the Paris 2024 Olympics, will join the Cardinal following an impressive freshman season in 2023.

At UCLA, Green earned honorable mention All-American status, was named to the MPSF All-Newcomer Team, and was recognized academically by the ACWPC. In her debut collegiate season, Green scored 39 goals in 29 appearances.

Green, who captained Australia’s youth national team and played a key role at Paris 2024, notably contributed to the Stingers’ historic Olympic silver medal finish—Australia’s best-ever result at an overseas Games.

Her move to Stanford signals another exciting chapter for one of water polo’s rising international stars.
